Event Description:
The CT Recyclers Conference is an annual, day-long event featuring a robust discussion of key issues facing the recycling and materials management industries and markets in Connecticut, as well as the impacts on the many customers and stakeholders in the state. The timing of this year's event is intentional - just after the Environment Committee's JF deadline so we can discuss the issues facing us in the CT General Assembly right now!
The 2023 Conference program will include expert panel discussions on food waste/organics diversion, Packaging EPR, and the Governor's proposal for a new solid waste authority. Of course we will hear from legislative leaders directly about the promise of the final two months of the session.
The CT Recyclers Conference is the singular event each year where municipalities, state officials, the business community and non-profit organizations in Connecticut come together in one setting to have a dialogue about the best ways to achieve our mutual goal of a 60% recycling rate statewide.
