At Urban Mining, Patrick and his partners are producing Pozzotive^® (www.pozzotive.com), a sustainable building material derived from post-consumer waste glass. The company had been operating a small Pozzotive plant in NY for 10 years prior to the recent opening of its first commercial scale facility earlier this year in Beacon Falls CT.  Used as a cement replacement, Pozzotive can reduce the carbon footprint of concrete by up to 40% while providing a large-scale solution to the ongoing challenges that waste glass creates in our recycling stream.
